Exploring Identity & Cultural Belonging
Do you want to understand the layered experience of being from everywhere and nowhere at once?
Welcome! I offer workshops and talks that explore the complexities of Norwegian culture, cultural diversity, and third culture identity, all through a personal, poetic, and often humorous lens.
Topics I cover:
Norway with Nuance
A deep-dive into the quirks, contradictions, and quiet beauty of Norwegian culture from "dugnad" and dialects to oil wealth, introversion, and what it really means to "be Norwegian."
Third Culture Kids & Growing Up Between Worlds
For anyone who has ever been told “you’re not really from here”. This talk/workshop explores what it means to grow up between countries, languages, and identities. Ideal for international schools, youth groups, educators, and curious adults.
Belonging, Identity & the Gift of Not Fitting In
A reflective and interactive session where we unpack how identity is shaped by place, memory, loss, and movement. I share my own story of growing up between countires, and how I turned cultural dislocation into creative grounding.
All talks and workshops are tailored to your audience, from students and educators to organizations, artists, and cultural institutions.
